Searching form information on Helen THOMAS. Have information that she was born in "Hercetane" Missouri, which we believe may be Herculanean in Jefferson County. She was born on September 1, 1909, and may have been raised in a Catholic Orphanage. She had an Aunt or Uncle by the name of HAMPTON, and either a brother or cousin named Vernon. She married Aaron WILSON in 1929, lived for a brief time in Detroit, Michigan, and lived from approximately 1932 until her death in Evansville, Indiana. Has two sons by her marriage to Wilson - Robert L. Wilson and Vernon K. Wilson, and a daughter by a second marriage to Clarence Swallow. Any information regarding Helen THOMAS would be very much appreciated.

George W PIERCE - born ca 1824, probably in TN, died 1896/05/06 at De Soto. Seeking information on his parents, origin. First marriage was to Susannah, maiden name and marriage date unknown. Susannah died prior to 1859. Their children were Thomas F, Martha Emma, John Wesley, Susan Elizabeth ("Lizzie"), Mary Francis. Susan Elizabeth married Gus PARTNEY and Mary Francis married an Ogle. Around 1980, a greatgrandson of Thomas F (via Hardin, Walter) named Charles Pierce, worked for Bell Telephone in Jefferson Co, at some large installation north of De Soto. If anyone needs it, I have the line from George W's second marriage - to Eliza ROGERS (b 1841/09/04, Victoria, MO, dau of Isaac ROGERS and Henrietta SPOHR).
