BYRD, Hampton, bn. Mo somewhere, possibly Jefferson Co. He died near Paducah, TX, Cottle Co. in 1883. He died a mo. or so before his last son was born, (my gr.father). He had been married twice and had children by 1st wife. 2nd wife was Marguerite MASSEY bn. Mar. 5,1846, Jefferson Co. MO to Rowland/Roland MASSEY & ????? LANGSTON. GERBER, COOPER, RIES, MEDLEY, THORNBOROUGH, STEWART, SETZKORN Louis GERBER married Sarah Ellen COOPER in Jefferson County in 1868. They had twelve children, including Louis David GERBER, Jr., who married Della Maud RIES in Crystal City in 1892. Della was the only daughter of Jacob RIES and Laura MEDLEY RIES. I am interested in any information on these families. I have extensive information on the descendants of Louis, Jr., but would like to know more about descendants of his brothers and sisters: Anna Gerber THORNBOROUGH, William GERBER, Willis GERBER, Mary Gerber SETZKORN, Charles T. Working the HERRINGTON (also HARRINGTON) lines starting with Bartholomew HERRINGTON. Bartholomew received a Spanish Land Grant for several square miles of the area around what is now Pevely Missouri. Researching MINKER, KEEFER. Eli KEEFER born 1811 PA, m Susan NOEL born 1814 PA. He died 1868 at Jefferson Co Mo of a tree accident. His wife Susan then moved to American River Bottoms Illinoia, with her married daughter. I loose Susan at this point, would like to know married name of daughter and when and where she died. Surnames; BRYANT, SHAFFER Looking for parents or other family of John Conrad BRYANT and Sarah Ann SHAFFER. From an index; Marriage of Jefferson County, Missouri, Vol I, 1835-1861, Published by Elizabeth Prather Ellsberry, Chillcothe, MO., they were married Sept 21, 1848. From the 1850 Missouri Census John was born abt 1829 and Sarah was born abt 1830. They had a daughter Anna J. Bryant (my great grand mother), August 18, 1857 in Lexington, Lafeyette County, MO. John died Dec 20, 1893; Sarah died Feb 29, 1866. They are both buried Blackwater Grave Yard, Jackson County, MO. Any information would be helpful. Thank you! David J.
