I am trying to find out any info on my G Grandparents Firn A Denton and Elizabeth (ELLA) l Reed they married and I have found they in the 1900 census for Barry Co MO. but I know they came from up near St Louis area hope you may be able to help me. any info on my family Denton will be much appreciated. as I live in Australia I find it hard to and slow to get in via Snail mail or be able to look at libaries all the libraries here relate back to England etc. Tahnks for you r time it is very appreciated. My grandfather, James Lenard Dace was born in Jefferson Co., MO. om 17 Mar 1861. His father, John Dennis Dace (b 1833, d 1890) was married to Sarrah Davis (b 1836, d 1882) in 1858. They had 9 children: Sarrah Elizabeth (b 1854, d 1929) James Lenard (b 1861, d 1930) John Dennis (b 1865, d 1868) Nancy Edathy (b 1867, d 1901) Franklin Marion (b 1868, d 1870) Eliza Jane (b 1971, d ) known as "Jennie" m. Mr. Blanden David Martin (b 1873, d 1875) Silas Edward (b 1875, d 1900) Mary Josephine (b 1879, d ) known as "Josephine" m. Mr Finger My Grandfather was living in Enid, OK. with his sister Josephine Finger at the time of his death in 1930. His sister Jennie Blanden came to the funeral from her home in Sullivan, MO. There were other Dace families in MO at that time, but I do not have a direct link to them. Hermon Dace (d Meramac State Park, Washington Co., bur. Sullivan-buffalo Cem.)and his wife Mary Elizabeth Whitmore (b Brynesville, Jefferson Co., d Leslie, Franklin Co., bur Sullivan-buffalo Cem) had six children: Michael Edward (b 1867, d 1905) m. 1893 to Sarah Ann Blanden Mary Elizabeth (b 1867, d 1905) m. Wesly Hamby James Garland (b d ) m. 1884 to Mary Harding Margaret Dace (b d ) m. William Marlow Thomson Dennis (b d ) m. Rosalie Jackson Willard Nathan (b 1882, d 1960) m. Elizabeth Jackson This family informs me that the children were born in/or around Jefferson C., MO.

Their children were Dora, Emma, William b. 1882, Albert b. 1883, Louise b. 1885, Fred b. 1886, Arthur b. 1888, and Frank b. 1891. STOLL, KIEFER, KEEVINS Anna (STOLL) and Joseph KIEFER lived in Festus in the 1890’s. Joseph owned a tavern at the corner of Main and Adams. Their children were Elizabeth (Liz), Cora, John, and Nicholas. Joseph died in 1899, and Anna later married John KEEVINS (1859-1933). Their children were William, Ella, and Ed. I have information on the descendants of Liz and Cora; I would like to find information on the families of Joseph KIEFER and John KEEVINS. I would also like to find information on Anna’s siblings, many of whom lived in Festus also: Joseph STOLL, Theodore STOLL, Elizabeth BULAN, and John STOLL.

GROSSMAN Charles (1849-1938)and Mary Catherine GROSSMAN (1851-1926) lived in Festus. Their children were Carl Sumner GROSSMAN (1887-1969) and Permelia GROSSMAM BURDETTE (1884-1947). I have information on descendants, but I don’t know where Charles and his wife came from. They lived on Adams Street and owned a tavern nearby.

POGGEMOELLER, MILLER Charles Frederick MILLER (1865-1911) was the son of Christian POGGEMOELLER and Charlotte LONG. Charles’ siblings were Harry, Frank, Will, Carrie, Amelia, and Lillie. I don’t know whether they used the name MILLER or POGGEMOELLER.

Last located on the 1910 census Mo. with wife Nora Davis Richardson and 3 daughter. Nora died in Peculiar, Mo. What happened to Calvin and children?
